St. Jude Children's Hospital, Finding Cures and Saving Children — Employee's Choice Donation

Just as important as Brio's charitable mission are the causes and charities that are near and dear to our employees. To honor our employees, in part with our Be Kind program, a portion of all Briotech's sales are donated to charities of their choosing.

This quarter's employee choice donation is St. Jude Children's Hospital; a research hospital dedicated to treating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This donation goes towards advancing cures, and the means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophe diseases through research and treatment.

"Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

Unlike any other hospital, the majority of our funding comes from individual contributions. And thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food—so they can focus on helping their child live.

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago."
